David moved his family to Vail in 2005 to found Christ Lutheran Vail Church. He is a former traffic and civil engineer. He loves the Vail community and has a strong desire to see its values preserved believing it is the crown jewel of Southern Arizona. He is chair of the Pima County Planning and Zoning Commission and serves on the boards of The Arizona Senior Academy and the Vail Preservation Society.
MaRico is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate serving for 21 years in the Air Force as an EC-130 @MQ-1 pilot, having one tour in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. He owns Community Wealth Builders and serves as Board Chair for the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Red Cross. He, his wife, and three children live in Arizona Springs in Rancho del Lago.
Pam is a retired CPA with over 35 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She is a past president of the California Society of CPAs Education Foundation, and has also served on state, county, and local level boards. Pam currently serves as Treasurer for the nonprofit boards of the Greater Vail Community Resources, Friends of the W Anne Gibson-Esmond Station Library, and Friends of Western Art. She and her husband reside in Coyote Creek and love the Vail Community.
Elaine is an Arizona native growing up in Tucson. She has an Associate's in Computer Science, a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and a Master's in Public Administration. Most of her career was spent with the Cities of Goodyear and Phoenix as a Systems Analyst. She is active with the Vail Preservation Society and serves on numerous residential committees for the Del Webb community in Rancho del Lago.
Peter is the master developer of Vail’s Antler Crest, Rincon Trails, and Coyote Creek. He is Chairman of the Board for the Steele Research Center for Children and on the Advisory Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tucson. Peter’s love of the Vail area is shown in his developments and volunteer commitments to Tucson and Vail.
Linda moved to Vail in 2005 where she rapidly became known for her small business franchise in the fitness industry. She is a retired military and civilian government employee specializing in finance/accounting. Linda volunteers for several causes sharing her expertise.
JJ is co-founder and CEO of the Vail Preservation Society. She is recognized locally and nationally for projects that build a sense of place and believes that we have a responsibility to be stewards of our community heritage and special places. JJ serves on the Tucson-Pima County Historical Commission, the Arizona Preservation Foundation State Board and is the Group Chair for the South East Regional Council (SERC) - Vail.
Jonathan Lounds, J.D. is the alcohol legal expert at the National Restaurant Association. He graduated law school from Indiana University in 2021 and is now pursuing his Master's in Business Administration at the UofA. Jonathan served in the Army as a combat infantry team leader in Afghanistan and attended Indiana University where he received his bachelors and graduate certificate in public policy analysis. Jonathan, his wife, and their cattle dogs settled in Vail in 2022.
Brent is the Founder and Principal of NBOUND, LLC, a consulting firm located in the Greater Vail Chamber of Commerce. He also served 12 years as an active-duty Air Force contracting officer and continues to serve as Reservist. Brent is a mentor for Startup Tucson and is devoted to helping make Vail and Tucson a place where small businesses can survive and thrive. He and his wife, Sarah, along with their four kids who attend 3 different VUSD schools live in Wingview.
Rob chairs IVA’s Technical Advisory Committee. He served as the CFO for the Pima Association of Governments and Regional Transportation Authority for 14 years. He serves as VP of Development and Executive Committee for the Catalina Council BSA, as an advisor for the University of California Irvine’s Business Advisory Council, as an Officer for the Regional Partnering Center (aka Sabino Canyon Crawler), and as Assistant Program Coordinator for LDS Addiction Recovery. Currently he is President and CEO of SmallStart Ventures. He and his wife Ellen live in Wingview.
