The Incorporate Vail AZ (IVA) organization commissioned the formation of a Technical Advisory Committee to create a feasibility analysis for the proposed Town of Vail. From the 2019 Arizona Daily Star ARTICLE, “I believe that we should be aggressive in trying to annex as much as we possibly can in the city of Tucson,” (now Mayor) Romero said. “I voted for each and every one of the annexations the past 12 years. If there are communities that do not want to annex into Tucson for whatever crazy reason that is, I feel they should incorporate.”
